For many decades, the Weisses Kreuz has been a place where hospitality and responsibility go hand in hand. For us, sustainability is not a trend, but an attitude: shopping consciously, working carefully and using resources respectfully - on a small and large scale.

Our commitment to sustainability has been recognized several times - including with the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel. Both confirm our careful use of resources and our consistent actions in terms of environmentally conscious hotel management.
Regionality & responsibility
Products with origin - enjoyment with a good feeling
We rely on food and products that we know - and whose origin we can trace. Many of our partners come from Vorarlberg and the Lake Constance region.
Vegetables and fruit preferably from Vorarlberg or from the island of Reichenau
Sausage products made from Austrian meat, regionally produced and AMA-certified
Meat exclusively from Austria (veal, beef, pork)
Poultry exclusively from Germany
Mountain cheese from the Schoppernau mountain cheese dairy (hay milk)
Organic products wherever possible, e.g. milk, butter, bread selection

For us, conserving resources means consistent optimization. We work with modern energy and cooling technologies, reduce consumption and rely on systems that reduce the burden on both the environment and operations.
