Lech Zürs am Arlberg
world famous ski resort
For over 100 years now, the name Lech/Zürs is associated with classy ambiance, impressive nature and top-notch dinning. 1906 the first ever skiing lessons were held here, and less than 20 years later the skiing school Lech was founded. The first skiing lift was established in 1937 in Zürs. Slowly but surely the small alpine village was turning into a world famous skiing resort with more than 80 skiing lifts and over 280km of skiing slopes.
However, its world fame does not just stem from the numerous top winter sports athletes and Olympic gold medalists that trained here, but also from its illustrious guests including the royal families of the Netherlands, Jordan, Marocco, Monaco and many more.
